A search for Stephen Clough who died in motorbike accident has ended tragically after a body that was found in Victoria’s rugged high country was identified as his. Clough, 58 was an professional dirt bike rider but his life was unfortunately taken away following a motorbike crash.
The hope of his family crashed following the unfortunate discovery made at about 1.40pm. Steven was married to Tammy and they have grown daughter who is about 18 years old. The daughter whose name is Sonia and her mother spoke with 9News about the incident and they opened up about their hope of finding him alive.
There had been a huge search effort, covering 40 kilometres worth of trails, after Clough went missing on Friday. He had texted his wife and outlined the exact route he planned to take that afternoon through the high country region. Tammy said he was good at communication and when he didn’t respond to her, she raised the alarm.
