On April 18, 2024, Matthew Richard Griffin, who had been battling pancreatic cancer for a period of four years, passed away at the age of 29. He had been facing the disease for several years. It was with great bravery that he had fought against the illness. During the final moments of his life, he was surrounded by the people who loved him the most, including members of his family. Matthew received his diploma from Avon High School, where he was recognized as a scholar athlete and excelled academically despite his athletic accomplishments. Matthew was graduated from the high school in Avon, Connecticut, where he was born. He also received his diploma from that school. In the years that followed, he continued his education at Providence College, from which he ultimately received a degree of magna cum laude in the year 2017.
It was at Providence College that he formed friendships that would last a lifetime and made memories that he will cherish for the rest of his life. He will always remember the impact that Providence College had on his life. He had graduated from Providence College with a sense of pride. As soon as he finished his education, he was fortunate enough to find a job with Strategic Benefit Advisors, which is situated in Southborough, Massachusetts. He was able to secure this position almost immediately.
Running was one of the skills that Matthew possessed, but baseball and field hockey were the sports that he enjoyed playing the most. Matthew’s favorite sports were hockey and baseball. Since he was a devoted fan of the Boston Bulls, he had a strong commitment to the team. It was his unwavering faith that served as an example to everyone around him, and he approached each challenge with the same level of determination and self-control that he had demonstrated in the past.
Matthew Griffin became the cherished husband of Abigail (Northgraves) Griffin on April 29, 2023, in Providence, Rhode Island. This event took place in Rhode Island. Her wedding was held in the end.
