Phoenix car accident victim has been identified as Max Murray and he was found to be one of the sons of Sports Tv Betsy Mungovan. Max unfortunately succumbed to the injuries he sustained from the fatal tragic crash which occurred on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 according to statement released on a fundraiser. The GoFundMe page with the title ‘Max Murray Legacy Fund’, was dedicated to the late PGA Tour Camera Operator.
As a result of Max’s collision with the curb and subsequent rollover, officials from the Phoenix Police Department disclosed that he was driving his vehicle at a high speed in the northbound direction on Seventh Street. The accident that resulted in death took place on April 9 of this year.
Excerpt from the publication on the Gofundme page reads: “While we are in the process of processing this shocking and tragic loss, we would like to invite you to join us in making a donation for Grace, who is four years old, and Ronan, who is two years old. This is in honor of our love for their father, Betsy’s son, Mike’s brother, and our friend. We want Max’s children to know that their television family is there for them.”
As the sons of Betsy Mungovan, a legend in the world of sports television, Max and Mike Mungovan were initially introduced to the NBC Sports family. They traveled alongside Betsy when they were young. Later, they entered the “family business” with their own careers in the industry, during which they served in a variety of positions in the areas of operations, production, and technical roles. We were able to witness Mike and Max’s development right in front of our eyes, and we were able to share Betsy’s joy as they became grandparents to their own children.
